Project Purpose and Support Course
1. Project Purpose
- To acquire the research competitiveness on the international level through support of the university professor visiting research, and to increase the quality of the university education and to promote the activation of the international exchange for the research by pursuing the international expansion of the domestic research results and development of the regional research
2. Support Course
- Substantiality of Overseas Visiting Research
- To support the actual necessity as the essential point is given to the feasibility of the visiting research
- To increase the quality of the research and to promote the international expansion by recommending its insertion in
the international scientific journal
- Sublation of the bias for specific nation and specialized strategy per region
- Sublation of the bias for specific nation by setting the occupancy rate
- Bestowment of the incentive such as staying expenses for the special area and etc.
Project Scope
- Support budget: Total KW2.2billion
Support Objective
- Support field: Whole fields of studies
- Support objective: The person who is qualified for overseas visiting research as per the attached university regulations and who is in service as the full-time professor for more than 3 years.
* The task for manual, dictionary compilation, development of textbook, translation,exhibition, concert and etc. will be
excluded from the support objective.
Support Contents
- Support Period: 6 months, 1 year
- Support Scope
- 6 months: KW1.5billion
- 1 year: KW2.5billion
- Support Ratio
- Distribution ratio per field: Humanities and society (KW1billion), engineering field (KW1.2billion)
- Distribution ratio per period: 1 year (60%) 6 months (40%)
- Distribution ratio per region: Refer to the application summary
Screening Procedures: 3 stages
- Requisites screening, major study screening, general screening
Future Execution Schedule
- Oct. to Nov., 2008 Planned for the project presentation and reception of the application through the online
