Program Purpose
- To raise enthusiasm about creative research, maximize researchers' competencies, and raise research quality to an international level by expanding activities for participating junior researchers.
- To assist junior researchers in becoming outstanding scholars by promoting their research activities and providing them a stable research environment.
Program Scope
- Support Budget: KW8.5 billion (New Task Support: KW7.8 billion)
- New Support: Around 489 tasks (Continuous Task Support: 45 tasks)
- Support Field: The entire fields of humanities and society (including art and athletic studies)
Applicant Qualifications:
- Among researchers who meet the standard of Article 5 of the Law on Credit Guarantee of “Academic Promotion and School Expenses Loan and its Enforcement Ordinance”, and who have been working for domestic universities less than 5 years since their initial employment as a full-time instructor or higher position (Also applicable to Clause 2, Article 14 of the Higher Education Law).

- Support Scope: Up to KW1.5million per year
- Support Period: 1 ~ 3 years

- Mar~Jun, 2009 : Application, Requisites Screening, Major Study Screening, General Screening
- Jun, 2009 : Notification of Selection Results
- Jul 1, 2009: Program Kickoff
