Program Purpose
- To translate and distribute major publications from both West and East that contain basic science theories and thoughts of our forefathers, in order to open a new chapter in translation culture and provide the base for a renaissance in the humanities
- To enhance the legibility of translated publications through natural translation and set a standard in translation of academic writings through detailed notes.
Program Scope
- Support Budget: KW 1.9 billion
- New Support: Around 30 tasks
- Support Field: Translation of academic writings in the fields of basic science into Korean language
Applicant Qualifications: Researchers with excellent translation accomplishments and capacity
- Researchers who have translated and published independently more than 1 academic writing
- Researchers who have translated and published jointly (less than 3 people total) more than 1 academic writing, also those who have more than 1 research outcome in the past 5 years.
Support Contents
- Support Scope: Free application (considering the amount and difficulty of the translation tasks)
- Support Period: 1~2 years
